Add the Install App to your phone
The Planqix Install App shows sign locations on the floor plan, and lets you photograph and note each install as you go. It keeps working with no signal and syncs on its own once you are back in coverage.

iPhone / iPad
- Open the link in Safari. Chrome on iOS cannot add apps to the Home Screen.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add. The Planqix icon appears with your other apps.
- Open it from the Home Screen from now on — that is what lets it work offline.
Android
- Open the link in Chrome.
- Tap Install if Chrome offers it at the bottom of the screen.
- If it does not, tap the ⋮ menu, then Add to Home screen or Install app.
- Confirm. The Planqix icon appears in your app drawer.
- Open it from there from now on — that is what lets it work offline.
Sign in once while you have signal. The app needs a working
connection the first time you log in. After that it stays signed in, and you
can open it and keep working anywhere on site — including in building cores
with no bars. Anything you photograph or write is saved on the phone and
uploads by itself when signal comes back, so you never have to remember to
sync.
Don't see your projects? The Install App is a paid add-on. If
you sign in and it says the add-on is not enabled, ask whoever manages your
Planqix account to switch it on for your user in
Settings → Team.
